DJ Basil returns.... Major support from our musical family around the world.
We pay tribute to what started it all.

Are You House - Basil

DJ Basil returns to the dance scene once again with another club banger “Are You House.” Partnering with Ron Trent, these two legends have created an instant dance floor smash. Basil, best remembered for his house classic “City Streets” as well as “All True African”and “Time To Be Free,” adds another hit to his catalog of music. The highly anticipated “Are You House,” soon to be released on Ron Trent’s Future Vision label, is already in rotation on dance floors from New York City to Africa receiving rave reviews.

Basil's vocals have been heard on house records since the late '90s, mainly on imprints like King Street Sounds and this time he teams up with the legendary Ron Trent. "Are You House" is bound to be one of those anthems we're gonna hear a lot going into 2016... And for probably a lot longer than that! The "vox" mix features Basil's epic and timeless monologue accompanied by the tough stomp of an 808, a bumping, razor sharp bassline and sparkling Rhodes keys; what more do you need? The "drum vox" mix does exactly what it says on the cover; a stripped DJ tool which focuses more on the 808 programming prowess without compromising on Basil's timeless message.
