Very powerful...

The Last Letter

"A Message to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney From a Dying Veteran
To: George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
From: Tomas Young"

It begins:

"I write this letter on the 10th anniversary of the Iraq War
on behalf of my fellow Iraq War veterans... ... ..."

It ends:

"...My day of reckoning is upon me. Yours will come. I hope you will be put on trial. But mostly I hope, for your sakes, that you find the moral courage to face what you have done to me and to many, many others who deserved to live. I hope that before your time on earth ends, as mine is now ending, you will find the strength of character to stand before the American public and the world, and in particular the Iraqi people, and beg for forgiveness."

Soulful Planet Topic: "Bush - Corrupt To The Core!" OMG! Impeach? (HERE)

As I posted back in 2007 in the above thread...
I still can't help but to ask the following, simple question:

"Ok, Imagine that this were a court of law,
and this were a trial,
and You were a Juror,
and based upon what has been presented... now what?"

末封末

It's time... bring them both
(Bush & Cheyney) to trial
and let an impartial grand jury decide
their innocence or guilt
and their fate,
just like how it's supposed to work
in what is left of America
when the evidence points to the fact
that major crimes
for profit, power and personal gain,
may or may not have been committed.
Seriously, is it time for this, now?

末封末

How Ironic this 'partial quote' from 10 years ago
may sound today, right now, in 2013...

"...I believe that patience will prove to be a virtue."
- Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense
Pentagon Media Briefing
6/24/2003

That's one hell of an impressive list Linz.

Geno "the last letter" is heartbreaking.

Some people are not able to experience empathy, however. They seem to only be able to get it if it involves their own personal pain.
