In our Music Village of dAbIdA, in the land of aLthatIm (pronounced All The Time). . .

we, on this Soulful Planet, meet and discuss things that really are, seem to be, ought to be, and may never be.

We do this privately and together.  For those who enjoy a place of togetherness, we have built our "tMpalovaL" (pronounced Temple Of All).

tMpalovaL is a totally neutral place, religious or non-religious, whatever you want it to be. It is a place for us to talk about what's in our hearts, and the music that reflects those feelings.

Therefore, this thread is for pictures, stories and videos about your church, or place of worship, your music, whether Gospel, Spiritual, New Age, etc... anything along these lines that you wish to share will be welcomed.

We will be including a picture of The tMpalovaL before the grand opening of Soulful Planet.

This should be an interesting thread!

This is the front door of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church in Bryn Mawr, PA. Although I'm not a religious person, I still have fond memories of going through those doors, to school, and receiving my first Bible.

Oddly, both my parents were Catholic, so I also went to "Our Mother Of Good Counsel" in Bryn Mawr too. I'm happy that my parents weren't strict about where we went. I was able to experience many different environments, and beliefs. I feel comfortable in almost any setting because of this.

My grandparents owned a building that housed a Synagogue on the top floor. I think that probably my mother's side of the family, from Italy, were part Jewish.

Me... I've investigated almost every religion on the planet, old and new. I respect people who truly want to do things to care for each-other.

"Glory" is the name of a Gospel/Folk group from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

They sent me a copy of their new cd "Gory" 'Trusting in God".
Imagine my surprise to see the picture of the earth from outer space, and the first cut, a song called "Morning Train". I enjoyed their cd, vocals and playing.... and I thank them for it.
You can learn more about "Glory" at Glory... Myspace
Thank you Herbert.
All the best & Much Love,
Mixey
