There's already alot of excitement & buzz about this album. Some singers heard about it and expressed their desire to be apart of this project.
We all have great expectations about this project.
 We have already started laying down tracks in the studio yesterday here in Vegas with "Jimmy Scott, Joe Pesci and Dee Dee Bridgewater" on this first session in the recording studio.
The studio built less than a year ago is state of the art, never have I been in a more beautiful studio for any of the recording sessions I've ever been to. Our partner Ralf was sorry we didn't book this studio for all of the sessions, lol. I look foward to being in L.A. with everyone too.

May 6 ~ Day One.............
Ralf, his arranger-pianist Mark, along with 2 video-photographers (Yoon-ha & Fabian) came to our home to rehearse with Jimmy, shoot footage for the documentary, conduct business with me and to interview us.

May 7 ~ Day Two............
"Joe Pesci" & his childhood pal "Tommy De Vito" of 'The Four Seasons' came to our home to do rehearsals and visit. What fun we had listening to stories. Tommy would take Joe to places to sing with his guitar when Joe was 11 years old. He said Joe was singing all the time. Tommy is 14 years older than Joe. We had a great visit with Joe, one of Jimmy's best pals for over 50 years, but then we always have some great fun when Joe is with us. There's a great love between Joe & Jimmy and a genuine closeness all 3 of us feel.
Joe started right in playing the guitar and singing all of Jimmy's songs to him. He serenaded us all day long in the livingroom, in my office, and in our backyard, lol, it was quite a show. Joe really has a good voice and OMG! does he ever sound like Jimmy.
 I really got a kick out of him singing Jimmy's Decca/Coral recording from 1950 of "The Bluest Blues", it was hip!!! "Joe Pesci" jammin`:

, Jimmy has always encouraged Joe from the time he was 17 years old. Jimmy was still mentoring Joe on this day and in the studio a little here and there but Joe sounded amazing.  |

* This was the beginning........ most of the recordings will be done in Los Angeles (West Hollywood) & Capitol Records in Hollywood the last week in June & the first week in July.
* There will also be a "live performance by Jimmy" & the musicians from the session at Herb Alpert's new jazz supper club in Bel-Air called "Vibrato Grill Jazz" with some surprising guest stars on June 30th. Cover charge will be $100.00.
* On July 4th. there will be a big wrap party & jam session with everyone poolside at Ralf's rented house which once belonged to Marilyn Monroe!
 The list of musicians & singers that want to take part just keeps growing, it changes day by day, it amazes me and....... Jimmy, well he is thrilled and spiritually uplifted by this whole event. That gives me the most pleasure. I was unexpectedly moved yesterday at the session, it was very emotional. I am so happy for Jimmy!!!    Tears of Joy!!!!!!!!!!!!S.S.
