the most awesome "Summer 4th of July natural fireworks in the sky" happened right at sunset here, as if on cue. We took these pics while the sunset sky was ablaze, right from the D'Street Deck with a few burgers cooking on the grill...

Hi Geno...
It was overcast here and the fireworks were less than spectacular, as viewed from the house. Most of the time, we see the fireworks across from the San Diego Fair in Del Mar; but this year we were tending to our 10 week old puppies. 2 puppies...a male and a female... Once again, it's that time pf year when people get the urge
to blow stuff up with fireworks... think twice and always think safety first with fireworks and/or let the experienced pros do this stuff, and now with that in mind... Here's Baris... getting ready for some noise annoyance tonight. Yes... I named him after Baris Akarsu. Baris means "peaceful" in Turkish. Fourth of July Celebrations... Be Safe!
LAST YEAR (2012)... a spectacular fireworks accidednt, but thank goodness... nobody got hurt... this year (2013) in SIMI Valley... well, not so lucky with the nobody got hurt part... Yup... Mixey, the idea of just staying HOME with the Puppies for the "fireworks zone" of the day... Good Idea... in fact, Priceless! |
