Iam truly happy for you because you sound so joyful and that in itself is a reason to celebrate.  We all should treat ourselves better no matter what life throws at us, it will always get better again.

Nice you get to spend time with your Mom and family members you don't get to see too often, enjoy every moment, they are a part of you and you are a part of them.

Birthday update: Still having fun. I'm now visiting with my cousin I never get to see,
my sister, my younger daughter, and my mother... this is all so nice.
As a family we're very spread out and it's not easy to get us all together,
and so I'm feeling fortunate.

Much drinking and merriment last night.... accordingly, everyone slept in...
couldn't tell you the last time was that I got out of bed at 11am.
 
Round two of relaxing and catching up has begun....
