I was just about to write to you to tell you that the reason some forums don't accept Yahoo or Hotbot e-mail addresses, is because you don't have to identify yourself sufficiently for them.  It's pretty common. 
 
Over here, we don't require that; but we have an unusual set-up, so it's not necessary.

 that were on Sixties Detroit, join us here.
    I miss reading posts from a lot of those folks! Cry
  It was a damn shame to see that forum go off
 line for reasons that were dubious then, and still
 are now.

          I have made a habit of telling everyone I
 meet about The Soulful Planet forum. Iv'e lost contact with folks on Sixties Detroit because of losing addresses
 stored in my computer, when the hard drive got wiped
 out. I had lots of great people that I met in person
from that site, and I wish I could contact them.
    I would like to write SiS D, Cool ju, Gary, CoCo,
 Carl Dixon, Medusa, and others.... They would have
 much fun here. Big%20smile

... and I can understand their hesitation with joining another forum.  It's round 3 for a lot of them.
 
When a person invites potential members to come and join a place, like ours... like SDF... like SD...
respect for those members should certainly be there at the administration level.  That's what has been missing on a lot of forums.  There's a King or Queen and the rest are subjects.
 
It takes time and creativity for members to post their art on any forum.
 
Our art lives and breathes here on Soulful Planet.  I and S. P. A. T. treat that art with respect.  Soulful Planet isn't Mixey's house... it's OUR Village... OUR place... OUR art... OUR forum.
 
There's an appreciation level that I have for all of you, that can't be messed with... and if I ever lose that for some reason, you can all put me in the dog house. Ouch 
 
Soulful Planet isn't going away... EVER!
 
If I go out of my mind, get sick, run out of money, or get married OMG to some hot guy who turns me inside out all fucking day and night, and I can't or don't want to tend to the administration of this anymore... I will turn Soulful Planet over to someone who will legally promise to make this place better than I have. Even if I get dead Dead, this place is already legally taken care of.
 
I will never drop the ball on any of you, and watch Soulful Planet disappear. 
 
That's a promise!

 to David, since he dropped the Sixties Detroit Forum

with no notice. If anyone has contacted him, I havent

 heard about it. He is probably doing fine without

 babysitting rowdy forum members any more.

 He could enjoy himself if he were to become a member

 here, but I think that is wishfull thinking on My part.

              For those of us who were once members
 of SDF and Sixties Detroit forums....
          Sis D has been hospitalized, according to Sue W.
 and is now doing a little better. Not sure what caused her problems.
        Steve Gronas aka["The Count"] has passed away
 from cancer.
        I would like to post my repects on SDF for the
 "Count", but thanks to Ralph that is impossible.
     Steve was a very open and nice guy that fought a
 long and tough fight with cancer.
       I hope SiS D is OK, and continues to get better.
 She is quite a great gal.

I read something about Sis Detroit what Sue had posted on Facebook. I remember her from my brief time on Sixties Detroit. Hope she makes a full recovery.

          The social interaction going on with Facebook
 friends can't be manipulated by Ralph, or anyone like him. He can't purge people on that site for posting their views. It really pisses me that I cannot pay my repects
 to Steve at this time on SDF. Other folks on that site
 would also like to be informed of SiS D's condition..
 I am sure.  This is the sick reality of "Zip/Ban/Delete
 in action. How stupid, and sad.

My condolences to his family.
 
Thank you for letting us know about Sis Detroit.  I always enjoyed interacting with her on Soulful Detroit, Sixties Detroit, MySpace and Facebook.  She sent me a beautiful message about Travis.
 
I hope she feels better soon.  Please keep us informed.  We should start a thread to her so she can see it better.
